Summer concerts end on a high note

The Jefferson Highlights Summer Concert Series ended its fourth season at the Art Bonito Amphitheater at Camp Jefferson with a near sell-out crowd on August 28.

Reuters - Rich Cronin, former lead singer of the boy band LFO and the writer of its 1999 hit "Summer Girls," died on Wednesday after a battle with leukemia, celebrity news site TMZ reported. He was 35.

Digital Trends - OnStar is due for a feature upgrade to match services offered by rival Fordâs Sync music and information system. According to Bloomberg, General Motors will be adding free services hooking into Facebook to its OnStar subscription service later this month. The service currently provides accident alerts, directions, vehicle diagnostics and roadside assistance in case of an emergency.
